It was a busy weekend for round six of the British Superbike Championship held on the famous Brands Hatch GP circuit for Beverley racers, Jordan Rushby (Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship-SSK1000) James Westmoreland (Dickies British Supersport Championship), and Sam Christie (Rider) and Adam Christie (Passenger) (Hyundai British Sidecar Championship).
After spending the last two years with G&S Racing Kawasaki the 23 year old rider feels he has the structure in place to go it alone and intends to campaign a fourth year in the National Superstock 1000
All three G&S Racing Kawasaki riders successfully completed their respective races at Snetterton on Sunday with Kevin Van Leuven recording a good top 10 result to add to his point’s tally in the Stock 600
G&S Racing Kawasaki rider Kevin van Leuven secured a strong eighth place on his debut for the team in the first round of the National Superstock 600 championship at Brands Hatch while Dominic Usher finished 18th in the Superstock 1000 class.
Donington Park turned out to be a disappointing weekend for Wyberton based G&S Racing Kawasaki as the weather again played its part on Friday; and during his race Tom Fisher was punted off his machine, race over before it began.
There were mixed feelings for Wyberton based G&S Racing Kawasaki at Cadwell at the weekend as all three riders put in a good performance which was marred by a nasty fall for Nottingham rider Daniel Hegarty causing his race to be red flagged.
G&S Racing Kawasaki team at Donington Park with Nottingham rider Tom Fisher equalling his best ever result of fourth place in the Superstock 600 race while in the 1000cc class Dominic Usher from Beverley crashed out
All three G&S Racing Kawasaki riders completed their respective races at Oulton Park over the Bank Holiday weekend, Tom Fisher a fighting 14th in the Superstock 600 race, Dave Ferns 29th and Dominic Usher 22nd in the Superstock 1000 event.
