Hold onto your hats, Bridlington—kites are coming back with a vengeance! The 11th Bridlington Kite Festival is set to blow the roof off Sewerby Cliff Top this weekend, May 16–17, with giant inflatable bears, twisting snakes, and sky-high spectacle that will leave your jaw on the sand.

From 10am to 5pm, the skies will explode with color as thousands of spectators witness some of the world’s largest kites battling gravity—and yes, the parachuting teddy bear drops are back, raining plush cuteness on lucky festival-goers below.

NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board has confirmed that the Urgent Treatment Centres (UTCs) in Bridlington and Goole will permanently operate from 7am to 8pm.
