This “new” performer at the theatre is Patrick Nolan, a local Romany character who lives in a supermarket car park and drives about the town in a electronic vehicle believed to have been a bumper-car in a traveling fair.

Beverley RUFC travelled to Leeds on Saturday and were able to record their 11 th victory in their last 13 matches, this despite the disruption of arriving half an hour late due to the team coach breaking down on the journey.

East Riding Of Yorkshire Non-Emergency Medical Transport Provider Announced

NHS East Riding of Yorkshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is pleased to announce that following a rigorous procurement process Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust (YAS) has been awarded a new five-year contract to continue running non-emergency medical transport services (previously referred to as patient transport service) across the East Riding of Yorkshire.

The new contract expected to start on 1 July 2017 will see YAS continue to support eligible local residents to access their routine health appointments, including patients requiring renal dialysis, chemotherapy treatments, and those needing transport following discharge from hospital.

A dream has come true for pupils at a special school in the East Riding, who now have their own coach to transport wheelchair users to activities and events.

The 17-seater Sunshine Coach was provided to St Anne’s School and Sixth Form College at Welton by the children’s charity Variety, following the success of the school’s own fund raising efforts and generous donations from two local companies.
