The Humber Colts lost their second consecutive game as they were beaten Swanfield FC 3 – 1. This was always going to be a tough match for the Colts against a team who last season were relegated from the Premier League.

Beverley Town FC came from two goals down to salvage a point and protect their unbeaten record in the Humber Premier League. The match, sponsored by Evans Halshaw of Beverley saw the home side go in at half time trailing by two goals at the Norwood Recreation Ground.
Tanners Ease Past Hornsea In The Senior Cup
Hodgsons FC Reserves progressed in the Senior Cup as they beat Hornsea Town Reserves 6 – 3 at the Beverley Leisure Centre. Daniel Atkinson scored two Nicky Whiting, Jim Waldron, Nicky Moy and Peter Jude also getting a goal each for the home side.

Beverley Rugby club held their annual fund-raising dinner at the KC Stadium. Over 200 people attended the dinner including the club’s key sponsors VIP Communications.
Hull Dockers Too Strong For Blue and Golds
This game proved to be a tough ask against a strong Hull Dockers second string. The hosts trailed 20-0 at the break and had to play 50 minutes of the game with only 12 men following the dismissal of full back Steve Connolly.
