Beverley Saturday Market To Be Focal Point For Series Of Events

It is being planned for the council’s local growth team to do two days of activities in the centre of Beverley towards the end of the month.

There will be no pre-registration required for the events, and there will be no charge to attend. Over the course of two days, a variety of family entertainment will be provided by outside vendors as well as council-sponsored teams and community organisations.

Due to the lack of NHS care, teachers at Trinity Academy Grammar in Calderdale turned to their local authority, which arranged for the charity Dentaid to assess and treat their pupils.

For those planning to travel across the Humber Bridge on May 7th and 8th, additional travel time is advised because vital maintenance is scheduled.

As part of the work to resurface the southbound carriageway, a contraflow will be in place between 6pm on Saturday 7 May and midmorning on Sunday 8 May when the work is scheduled to be completed. Beginning at Hessle Tower, the contraflow will proceed south to Barton anchorage.

There will be a major event taking place at East Riding Leisure Beverley on Sunday, 26 June, 2022, when many local organisations, sports clubs, and local residents will come together for the Ivan Usher Community Celebration from 10am to 3pm.

This event will take place as a partnership between the council’s health and wellbeing team, East Riding Leisure Beverley, and the Usher family, and it will pay tribute to the memory of Ivan Usher, after whom Beverley Town FC’s stand is named.
