Beverley were totally outplayed in all departments and went down to a heavy defeat in their local derby at Pocklington.

This was an all too familiar Beverley afternoon. Bags of endeavour and wholehearted effort and plenty of the play but in the end nothing to show for it.
What a day for rugby. Incessant rain intermingled with occasional snow persisted throughout and in near freezing temperatures.
A near gale force wind and two sides struggling at the foot of the table hardly suggested it was going to be an afternoon of classy rugby.
Hard to know what you can say about this. Sixteen tries and nine conversions. 98-0 and every bit as bad as it sounds.
So in the end it finished all square. Both sides were probably left feeling a sense of frustration, Beverley perhaps the more so because with ten minutes left they led 23-11
At last. A first win for Beverley and a fine one at that with a bonus point to boot. There was little here to suggest that they had gone into this game winless and without a single point
The least said about this the better. After several weeks of steady improvement this was a hugely disappointing step backwards for Beverley.
Forget the score. Forget that it was another heavy loss. This was a wholehearted Beverley performance and in the end the margin of defeat was rough justice for a fine effort
An entertaining afternoon with plenty of running rugby but not really much of it of high quality. Both sides were error-prone throughout but Beverley
Given Beverley RUFC dismal record on past visits to Scatcherd Lane and with two heavy defeats behind them Beverley would have feared the worst here.
Not a particularly memorable afternoon’s rugby to start the new season as two Hartlepool tries just before halftime killed off Beverley
Perhaps the least said about this the better. It was Beverley’s last home fixture of what has been a fairly wretched season and it ended in another heavy defeat.
Not a lot here to cheer about. To commemorate the club’s Ladies Day Beverley turned out in pink and unfortunately for most of the time they played accordingly.
A much needed win at last for Beverley RUFC. Conditions today were not helped by a strong crosswind but as a spectacle this game was pretty dire.
A one-sided first half but overall plenty of exciting rugby. On an afternoon of early spring sunshine both sides ran the ball from anywhere and despite the final margin of defeat Beverley RUFC emerged from the game with great credit
Good in parts but overall not a particularly memorable afternoon. After their steadily improving recent performances today was disappointing for Beverley.
Another tough fixture against a top four side and another pretty hefty defeat for Beverley RUFC.Forget all about that. This was a rousing game played in a great spirit.
