Over 65,000 East Riding households have received their £150 energy rebate, with the East Riding of Yorkshire Council has paid out a total of £9.7 million so far.
The council started processing payments earlier this week to eligible residents who pay their council tax by direct debit.
There will be annual restrictions excluding dogs from certain parts of beaches along the East Coast from Sunday, 1 May.
In an effort to help families and visitors enjoy the seaside without being bothered by nuisance dogs or fouling, the exclusion will be in effect until 30 September.
There will be a major event taking place at East Riding Leisure Beverley on Sunday, 26 June, 2022, when many local organisations, sports clubs, and local residents will come together for the Ivan Usher Community Celebration from 10am to 3pm.
This event will take place as a partnership between the council’s health and wellbeing team, East Riding Leisure Beverley, and the Usher family, and it will pay tribute to the memory of Ivan Usher, after whom Beverley Town FC’s stand is named.
Petanque enthusiasts are invited to a free event to try out the sport in May at the Molescroft Beverley Petanque Club in Beverley.
As part of Commuted Sums from local housing developments, Molescroft Parish Council was awarded £20,600 from the East Riding of Yorkshire Council earlier this year.

The All Ride adapted cycle scheme in Bridlington will return for 2022.
Running every Friday between 10am and 3pm from Victoria Terrace on Bridlington’s North Promenade, the scheme will restart on Friday, 22 April, with the final session on 28 October.
A group of neighbours in Beverley have set up a Neighbourhood Watch Group to work together with East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Humberside Police to tackle the problems of anti-social behaviour in their area.
The new group covers the areas of Grovehill Road, Cherry Tree Lane, St Nicholas, Priory Road and Chantry Lane.

Sunday, 4 September will see a brand-new event in Bridlington – the inaugural Bridlington Beach 5k and Fun Run.
The event will take place entirely on the beach and is restricted to 300 runners. There will be a Fun Run for children and those who do not wish to run the full 5k.
Work has begun at three East Riding of Yorkshire Council sites to decarbonise the buildings following the award of Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS) funding.
Phase 1 of the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS) provided £1 billion in grants, reflecting the public sector’s role in meeting the Government’s net-zero commitment by 2050. The Council was successful in receiving £1.9 million of funding from this scheme.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has announced that the popular Bridlington Park and Ride bus service will start on Saturday, 9 April and will run until 30 October, seven days a week.
The Park and Ride site near South Cliff Holiday Park will be open from 7am – 8pm, and charges will apply between those times. Transport links into town will start at 9.30am; times of the last bus back to the site will vary throughout the season.

The waste and recycling team at East Riding of Yorkshire Council is asking people to take part in the consultation to air their views on how the littering of packaging from fast food outlets affects the area.
Humber Forest has celebrated their relaunch this week at one of its many tree planting projects in the East Riding area.
