New Ivan Usher Stand To Be Opened At Norwood Recreation Ground
Beverley Town Cricket & Recreation Club is set to unveil the new Ivan Usher Stand.
The special event takes place this Sunday, 15 September at 12 noon. During the afternoon there will be a number of events, including a charity football match.
Walkington 10K Organisers Thanks Race Sponsors For Their Support
Beverley AC Chairman Rob Reid has expressed his gratitude following confirmation that local business will again be sponsoring the Walkington 10K.

Beverley Athletic Club will host their annual Beaver Trail event this coming Sunday and are inviting runners and other clubs to join them.
Now in its 20th year, the club say everyone is welcome to take part in the event that takes in what they say is a very interesting route.
Beverley AC Delighted After New record And Largest Ever Field Take Part In 10K
The Pittaway Beverley 10k road race saw a record 1,850 runners descend on the town for the 25th running of the event on Sunday 13 May, which was started by the Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu.
Organised by Beverley Athletic Club, the run has become one of the best-loved annual events in the town’s calendar, attracting thousands of runners, spectators and Beverley residents alike.
Local Man On Fundraising Mission Praises Pittaway Beverley 10K
A man on a fundraising mission, Greg Usher (437) has praised the Pittaway Beverley 10K and the B&A Scaffolding Fun Run saying organisers did a fantastic job.
Greg, who was taking part in his seventh Beverley 10K is raising money to fund a stand at the Norwood Recreation Ground in memory of his late father, Ivan Usher.
Beverley Athletic Club Launch Couch To 5k Incentive
Hot on the heels of the successful Beverley 10k race, Beverley AC is excited to announce the forthcoming launch of its first ‘Couch to 5k’ beginners running programme.
Starting this Wednesday 16 May 2018 the 15-week course will be run by UKA qualified coach, Patrick Marshall, who will be assisted by members of the club to help newcomers to running to achieve the goal of a 5-kilometre run.

Beverley Athletic Club is delighted to announce that the Archbishop of York, Dr. John Sentamu, will be present in Beverley on Sunday 13 May and will be the starter of the Pittaway Beverley 10k race.
Dr Sentamu will also provide blessings for both the 10k race and the B&A Scaffolding Fun Run.
Denis Healy Backs Families Plans Install Stand At Local Football Club
Cllr Denis Healy is supporting the family of the late Ivan Usher in their quest to realise his dream of building a memorial stand at Beverley Town Football Club.
Ivan, who was a well known figure in Beverley, passed away last autumn at the age of 83. He worked for 30 years as a PE teacher, and spent the whole of his professional life at one school; Longcroft, where he taught generations of children to enjoy and appreciate their fitness.

Beverley Athletic Club are delighted after the hugely popular event, the Pittaway Painting and Decorators Beverley 10K sold out in just a few hours.
Tickets for the event that sees runners tackle a course around Beverley sold out in record time with all 1,850 places being sold in less than six hours.
