Beverley Racecourse will be the venue as the UK’s Biggest Drive-In Cinema Comes to the town this month complete with a string of blockbuster movies.

From the 21 January the Drive- In Cinema will show a 15 popular films each evening with anyone wanting to go being charge £25 per car as oppose to paying per person.

In a major commission for Hull UK City of Culture 2017, the artist Nayan Kulkarni is transforming the historic heart of the city with Blade, a monumental artwork that changes the way people see and experience Queen Victoria Square.

Nayan Kulkarni, a multimedia artist known for his work with light, has taken a 75 metre long Rotor blade that would normally be at the top of a wind turbine, to create the artwork, a spectacular interruption into the newly renovated public space.
