Hull Is Launch City For Global Entrepreneurship Week
Hull City Council, in partnership with Hull Youth Enterprise Partnership, have organised seven major events to inspire, connect and engage the next generation of entrepreneurs in Hull.
The city will host former BBC Apprentice contestant Adam Corbally and Antony Chesworth, founder of EKM Systems, as well as young entrepreneurs Aaron Conroy of Fenburg, who was once homeless, Eve Lodge of Get Barmy Bunting who is studying at University and Evie Sharp of Peaches & Dreams who runs her children’s clothing business from home. Chair of the Youth Enterprise Partnership, Ross Bennett, MD of Engaging Education will be the MC.
Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Continues Five Year Residency At Hull City Hall
Hull Culture & Leisure and Hull City Council are delighted to announce the continuation of a significant partnership for a further five years with an international orchestra – the Royal Philharmonic – securing their presence in the city until 2024.
The announcement was made at the beginning of the Orchestra’s concert at Hull City Hall, which was broadcast live on BBC Radio 3.

T Sport Racing End Season On A High At Brands Hatch
The last round of the British Truck Racing Championship was held last weekend on 4th and 5th of November around the famous Brands Hatch Indy Circuit in Kent, with Brough racer Terry Gibbon taking the helm of the T-Sport Racing MAN.
With a record number of visitors through the gate, more than 150 show trucks and 30 race trucks, the last truck race of the year was all set to be a real cracker!
