East Riding of Yorkshire Council are the latest organisation to express their regrets at the collapse of the Beverley Folk Festival which has seen this year’s event cancelled.
The Council who have been keen supporters of the Beverley Folk Festival added they were able to put a stop to the money that was due to be granted to help fund the festival.
Beverley Racecourse have released a statement following the news that the Beverley Folk Festival has been cancelled.
The event, which was a ‘not for profit’ organisation cancelled the event leaving those with tickets and other suppliers out of pocket.
Beverley Folk Festival has been cancelled with people who have bought tickets in advanced facing prospect of not getting a refund on their purchases.
The event which has been going for 35 has ceased trading leaving those with advanced tickets out of pocket while the future of the event looks in doubt.
