As a result of poor trading figures, the Majestic Wine says they are in talks to get rid of the 200 stores across the UK.

Students at Bishop Burton College have spoken of their “life-changing” experiences working on a game reserve in South Africa.
Animal management students at the college spent two weeks working as volunteers at the Shamwari Game Reserve, near Port Elizabeth.

Organised by John Rubinstein the reunion certainly proved to be a resounding success. John says he set up the reunion to mark the 40th anniversary of them leaving the school.

East Riding Archives has created a new, free app that turns smartphones or tablets into virtual ‘time machines’.
‘What Was Here?’ uses historical photos from the archives, plotted onto a Google Maps base map, to show users literally ‘what was here’ at their location and elsewhere across the East Yorkshire region.
