KCOM Announces Further £100m Full-Fibre Broadband Investment

Hull-based broadband and communications provider KCOM Group Limited has announced plans to invest approximately £100 million to expand its full-fibre broadband network.

KCOM, which completed a full-fibre broadband rollout to around 200,000 properties across Hull and East Yorkshire last year, has revealed new plans to push beyond the company’s traditional boundaries to tens of thousands more homes and businesses.

Thomas The Baker Reaches Milestone In Charity Fundraising

A Yorkshire baker has handed over a cheque for £11,000 to Kidney Research UK following a year of fundraising – marking the firm reaching a milestone £100,000 total donation to charity over the last 10 years.

With help from their customers and team Thomas the Baker, which has 30 stores across Yorkshire and the North East, has set about raising money for its ‘charity of the year’ for the last decade.
