An East Yorkshire young entrepreneur who originally started his own luxury car detailing business from his garage has launched his second business venture, a facility providing a hotel and concierge service for prestige vehicles.

Following Harry Hall’s incredible success with Attention to Detail (ATD), which grew from a single garage to a 3,000sq ft state-of-the-art detailing studio in a single year.

CADEY Committee Meets For Update On Campaign To Boost Lifesaving Defibrillators

The CADEY committee, chaired by Beverley and Holderness MP Graham Stuart, has met virtually for an update on its campaign to increase the number of lifesaving defibrillators across the constituency.

Formed in 2018, CADEY – standing for Community Access Defibrillators East Yorkshire – identified 63 communities without a publicly accessible defibrillator when it was formed. This has since been reduced by more than half by offering match-funding schemes with parish councils, as well as by asking businesses to use community funds to help purchase them.

Six months since Max and Keira’s Law (Organ Donation (Deemed Consent) Act 2020) came into effect in England and saw the country shift to an ‘opt-out’ system for organ donation.

The new law, which saw England change to an opt-out system alongside Wales and Jersey, means that people in England are now considered as willing to donate, unless they have opted out, are in one of the excluded groups[1] or have told their family they don’t want to donate.
