Humber Colts won again yesterday as they beat the Lord Nelson 2 – 0 at Burden Road. Goals from Jake McMullen and their new Romanian striker Mircea Ciu were enough to the bragging rights in tough local derby.
The Lord Nelson Continued their build up to the new season with a 3 – 1 victory over North Ferriby United at Longcroft School.
Darren Spruce saw his goal cancelled out as the Lord Nelson were held at home by Goole United Academy. Next weekend, the Lord Nelson face Leven Members Club, the leaders of the East Riding County League.
