Garry Jackson, and Mike Boynton were all on target for the Lord Nelson as they beat Amateurs 3 – 2 at .

Manager Terry Jackson was delighted with the win saying after game;

“I am very happy with the lads’ performance. We have not played since early December so it was satisfying to get back out there.”

Darren Spruce was spotted at the game as rumours continue to circulate about him making a switch from Molescroft Rangers to the Lord Nelson.

Jackson, however, refused to discuss the move of the utility player who has been out of action for ten weeks with a broken leg.

The win lifts the Lord Nelson up to tenth place in the East Riding County League. Next weekend, they travel to Garton Road to face Aldbrough United.
