East Riding Theatre is proud to announce we will be releasing a FREE pre-recorded performance of the one-woman play, Spoonface Steinberg, on 26th September 2020.
Written by Lee Hall (Billy Elliot) and first broadcast on Radio 4 in 1997, the play follows an extraordinary story of faith, love and the meaning of life, including Hall’s trademark sense of humour in the face of tragedy.
British actor Rory Maguire will star as Dennis in Selladoor Family and Beano Studios’ new stage production Dennis & Gnasher The Musical! The show will be at Bridlington Spa for eight performances from Tuesday 28 January.
Rory is currently starring as Gerard in American Idiot (UK Tour & New Zealand). His previous theatre credits include Summer Holiday (UK Tour), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Avalon, Canada), Mamma Mia (UK Tour), Peter Pan (Greenwich Theatre & Rickmansworth), George’s Marvellous Medicine (88 London Road, Brighton), Grease (BKL), Ushers (Arts Theatre & Edinburgh Festival), Aladdin (Brighton Emporium) and Shrek (UK Tour).

In addition to its regular programming of ten films, screened on the second Thursday of every month between September and June, society members can also enjoy three extra films throughout the season at no additional cost.
Hull-based property firm, Iguana Developments has joined a scheme which enables students to undertake an innovative Degree Apprenticeship, to earn while they study for a University degree.
The dilemma of choosing between a degree or an apprenticeship is resolved with the opportunity for students to earn a salary and study for a degree with University fees funded by the Government Scheme. This aims to achieve a target set in 2015 to create 3 million new apprentices by 2020.
Celebrations for Care Home Open Day were extra special at Claremont House, Beverley as the Home celebrated its 1st anniversary.
