With 8,000 people expected to visit Beverley Minster this Saturday for the Christmas Festival of Food and Drink, what can they expect from the event that is now in its fifth year.
Beverley Town Council who organise it have pulled out all the stops to ensure that for people attending there will be more new stalls and also additional entertainment.
A new exhibition opens at the Beverley Guildhall on Friday 25 November, showing the results of the recent competition to capture “the essence of Beverley” in photographs.
The exhibition, called “Capturing Beverley”, contains over 100 beautiful images that were submitted to the Guildhall website over the past year. The Capturing Beverley exhibition runs until 24 February, 2017
A card designed by a pupil from Molescroft Primary School, Sam Davis has been selected by the MP Graham Stuart as to be used on his official Christmas Card for 2016 and be sent out some of the biggest names in UK politics.
Sam whose design featured a snowman in a snowy scene was selected from the hundreds of entries from school children throughout the area as the overall winner by Beverley based artist Nick Matson.
