Beverley RUFC threw away a half time lead as Bridlington powered back in the second to maintain their unbeaten run in Yorkshire Division One.
Beverley went into this match against the league leaders and only unbeaten side looking to preserve their record of not losing at Beaver Park.
It was the Beverley who took the early advantage taking a well deserved advantage into the half time and looked odds on favourites to go on and win the game.
The second half however the pendulum swung back with force as Bridlington clawed their back into the game scoring two early tries.
Beverley did edge ahead scoring quickly after the restart but it was to prove to be little more than a consolation as Bridlington turned the game on its head to run out comfortable winners.
Next weekend The Beavers, who are now seventh, will be on the road as they take on West Leeds who are currently third place in the table.
