‘Dance Transports’ With TC Howard Coming To Bridlington Spa

Later this month, Bridlington Spa will play host to a two-day workshop for dance professionals, the first of five taking place across Yorkshire before the end of March.

This is the third annual series of Dance Transports, a training programme organised by Yorkshire Dance, the dance development agency for the region.

PHE’s One You campaign is reaching out to the 83% of 40 to 60 year olds (87% of men and 79% of women) who are either overweight or obese, exceed the Chief Medical Officer’s (CMO) alcohol guidelines or are physically inactive, to provide free support and tools to help them live more healthily in 2017 and beyond.

Nayan Kulkarni, a multimedia artist known for his work with light, has taken a 75 metre long Rotor blade that would normally be at the top of a wind turbine, to create the artwork, a spectacular interruption into the newly renovated public space.
