Tony Coyle plans to saddle two horses in the second staging of a race run in memory of his partner, Jaimie Kerr, at Beverley on Monday evening (July 24).

Jaimie, who was just 38 when she died two years ago, was also Coyle’s assistant at Low Row Stables in Malton, North Yorkshire.

A new service, East Riding My Guide Service being offered by the charity Guide Dogs For The Blind was launched at a special event.

Organised by the Health Trust, Local Government Staff and representatives from community based partner organisations, it help people understand the value that My Guide can bring to those from our community living with sight loss resulting social isolation.

Five Big Latch On events are being hosted by East Riding children’s centres, in partnership with the midwifery service and Humber Foundation NHS Trust health visiting service, as part of international celebrations to mark World Breastfeeding Week, August 1 to 7.
