Be Part Of The Parade At Yorkshire 2019 Para-Cycling International

One hundred and fifty places are available to the general public to take part in a mass parade cycle ride ahead of the Yorkshire 2019 Para-Cycling International on Saturday, 21 September.

This is a chance for all to get involved in this inspiring day, with the unique opportunity to cycle part of the race route on closed roads through the Beverley Westwood just before the athletes depart.

Writer and long-distance walker Raynor Winn will be in Beverley on Sunday, 20 October, to talk about her hugely popular book, ‘The Salt Path’, as part of the East Riding Festival of Words 2019.

When they lost their home and livelihood, just as her husband Moth was also diagnosed with a terminal illness, Raynor and Moth started walking. They impulsively decided to walk the 630 miles South West Coast Path, at a time in their lives when they seemed to have nothing left, and no time.
