Beverley Town Football Club is delighted to announce a significant sponsorship agreement with JUMP INC of Flemingate.

The agreement sees Jump Inc provide several discounts and incentives to players at the club as well as a significant financial contribution towards the club development fund. Jump inc has also provided winter Jackets to Beverley Town Saints under 11s, which provide the team with fantastic looking winter wear.

Nonetheless, it was a hard-fought and entertaining game played in a fine spirit. Up to halftime, there was very little in it but as the game wore on the superior physicality and powerful running of the home side eventually told.

A Beverley secondary school whose pupils “leave school very well prepared for life in modern Britain” has been judged as outstanding following a recent Ofsted inspection.

Ofsted inspectors visited Beverley High School in November and judged them to be outstanding in all areas which include the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management and sixth form provision.

The new exhibition at the Treasure House in Beverley, ‘Hidden: Cold War Women’, gives a glimpse into a lesser-known period of history, the Cold War.

The exhibition centres on photographic portraits of local women by artist Lee Karen Stow. Many of the women were members of the Royal Observer Corps or serving with the RAF. Some were involved with local authority Emergency Planning, whilst others were part of the peace moment.
