Beverley Braves Rugby League Club is set to officially open at its new home on Thurlow Avenue, Molescroft on Saturday, 7 September.

The opening comes after completing the works funded by East Riding of Yorkshire Council as part of Commuted Sums, and receiving funding from Inspired Facilities.

The blue and golds will take on Hull Dockers this Saturday in their only derby fixture this season. Beverley will face Hull Dockers at 2.30pm kick-off at the Leisure Centre.

The match is also the second leg of the Paul ‘Curly’ Quiney Cup. The match, sponsored by the Middleton family, seems likely to attract the biggest crowd of the season so far to the Leisure Centre with a lot riding on the game.
