Beverley RUFC got their pre season under way with a comfortable win over Bridlington at Beaver Park.
Beverley 2nd team finished a great season in style with one of their best performances & deservedly won the Merit League Division 1 Final against Ionians Buccaneers 40-5.
Beverley RUFC seconds have progressed to the Merrit final after beating Scarborough Seconds 36 – 16 at Beaver Park.
Beverley rounded off their league campaign in fine style to end the season twenty points clear at the top of North One East. In the twenty six games played they suffered only two defeats and scored 1229 points at an average of 47 points per game.
Beverley RUFC host Old Crossleyans RFC in the final game of the North 1 (East) Competition this season and will be looking to complete the campaign with a victory to keep their unbeaten home record intact.
You will not see rugby much better than this. Beverley already had the league title wrapped up but Sheffield were still battling for a play-off place. And they set their stall out here to go for it.
