Posa Demands For More Of The Same From The Champions

Beverley RUFC

follow up their 71-13 thrashing of promotion hopefuls Wheatley Hills with a visit to another of the erstwhile playoff contenders Sheffield on Saturday.

Having dropped a point two points last Saturday against Malton & Norton, they have fallen off the pace slightly and, if Beverley can beat them on Saturday, it will virtually put paid to any lingering hopes that Sheffield may have.

In last weekend’s victory the Beavers, having secured the League Championship the week before, turned in a breathtaking performance to completely blow Wheatley Hills away and Head Coach will be looking for more of the same in the club’s final two matches.

In the home fixture against Sheffield the Beavers gained a 48 – 15 victory but will need to be at their best to be sure of victory at Abbeydale Park.

They will be without the injured James Holland (ankle) and Goran Jelencic (thumb), but otherwise have a full strength squad available for selection.
