Beckside is set to come alive when Beverley Barge Preservation Society hold their annual festival on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 May. The annual Beverley 10k road race takes place on Sunday 9 May. Motorists are advised to avoid the area around the Beverley Leisure Centre and Minster immediately before the start of the race.
