Homecoming Parade Images

The Yorkshire Regiment marched through the streets of Beverley today as over 20,000 people turned up to welcome them home from Iraq. The RAF Sea King Rescue Helicopter got things started with a low fly by over the crowds that had gathered to show their appreciation to personnel of the Yorkshire Regiment. The Arched topped bus is on display outside the Beverley Arms Hotel, the bus which was adapted so it could pass through North Bar has a curved roof. The hotel also hosted an outdoor Art exhibition with lots of local works being displayed.

Stocks & Flares Tour

St Mary’s Church in Beverley as part of the North Celebrations is giving guided tours of showing off actual stocks that were used in the town. Other items too were on display in the Priest Room.
