With the success of the recent Beverley Folk Festival the organisers have announced the dates for next years even with some special offers for those looking to book their tickets in advanced.
Between Fri 18th & Sun 20th June 2010, the 27th annual Beverley Folk Festival takes place in the shadow of the historic Beverley Minster.
It promises to offer 3 nights & 2 days of breathtaking music from International Artists, dance, comedy, spoken word, acoustic sessions, workshops for all ages, children’s events, craft stalls, Real Ale, camping & much more with the “Festival Village” being the centre of events at the Beverley Leisure Complex, HU17 0LT
The ‘Americana Mini Fest’ that took place in 2009 was extremely successful and will be even bigger in 2010 with MORE artists appearing from the USA.
The ‘Festival Village’ grew in 2009 with the addition of 2 new marquees
– Acoustic & Concert, bringing the total to 4 music venues on site offering Non Stop performances. The famous ‘Late Night Festival Club’
continues to cater for those wishing to see MORE wonderful acts late on into the night PLUS the odd surprise guest….. Many other events take place in the Leisure Centre such as the headline acts which in 2009 were Billy Bragg, Peatbog Faeries & Seth Lakeman!
