Worsbrough Bridge Athletic Head To East Yorkshire To Take On Beverley

Worsbrough Bridge Athletic will head to East Yorkshire this weekend as they face Beverley Town in the Northern Counties League.

Beverley’s manager Dave Ricardo says his side will be looking for the win. He has some players missing but says his side can approach the match with confidence.

Speaking ahead of the game Ricardo said:

“We are in good shape going into the game and raring to go. In all, we will be missing three players but have the squad to cope. As always we will be looking going for it and looking for all three points.”

“Worsbrough has made a few signings in recent weeks and will pose a threat. We will be looking to put out a more experienced side on Saturday and play our usual way.”

Currently Worsbrough Bridge Athletic sit in the bottom three. Should they win at the Norwood Recreation Ground they could climb the table.

They will arrive in East Yorkshire having won three of their last five games in all competitions. While in the league they have won their last two away games.

Beverley’s home league form continues to be an issue for the club. They have managed just one victory so far this season beating Glasshoughton Welfare 5-1.

Victory for Beverley Town would see them climb the table. They currently sit in the fifteenth spot with fourteen points from eleven games.
