‘Feel good’ food and drink chain Filmore & Union is celebrating the end of Veganuary with their delicious vegan supper clubs.
The vegan supper clubs will be held on 1st and 2nd February 2019 across a selection of their restaurants and is taking place at Filmore & Union’s Beverley restaurant located on Saturday Market. Book now for just £23.95 per person for three courses.
The ‘Big Beverley Pancake Race’ is back again, after its revival last year. Some residents may remember it from several years ago when it was a regular calendar date, organised by the then, Beverley Arms Hotel.

A Hull band who’ve played for the rich and famous all over the world but who remain relatively unknown in their home city, are looking forward to playing a rare major live gig in East Yorkshire next month.
The Tzars style themselves as a weddings and corporate functions band and as such have entertained for major names, including Mercedes-Benz, Shell, Asda and Vision Express. On one occasion they were hired to play for former Formula 1 racing driver and team boss Eddie Jordan’s niece’s wedding.
Beverley and East Riding golf club is set to receive over £26,000 to restore the Westwood’s iconic 200 year old Anti Mill, from a pot of cash paid by developers to support recreation and leisure projects.
Last March, East Riding ward Councillor, Denis Healy, encouraged local community clubs to come forward to bid for the money, known as “Commuted Sums,” which is earmarked for leisure and recreation projects.
