24 amateur dances, including a pair from Beverley will hit the stage later this month for the Strictly Learn to Dance final in aid of East Yorkshire’s local Hospice, Dove House.
Taking place on Friday 23rd March Hull City Hall will be covered in glitter as the dancers show off their skills to bring us their wonderful Waltzes, perfect Paso Dobles and fantastic Foxtrots, all vying for your support to be crowned Strictly Champions 2018.
An owner of a popular seafood restaurant brand in Hull and Beverley has called for fundraising help as a team looks to pass a £25,000 target for Dove House Hospice in memory of Sally Marshall and Julie Lang.
Tina Cerutti, who runs Cerutti ‘2’ in Beverley, has been part of Team Sally, which has raised more than £24,000 so far for the local hospice which provides levels of care and support beyond the call of duty.
Most people long for a job where they feel supported, appreciated and happy in their work but few expect to find that working for a hospice which is caring for people who are dying.
However Dove House Hospice in Hull has just been voted 21st in the Sunday Times Top 100 Not-For-Profit Organisations To Work For in the UK proving that good leadership and a supportive organisational culture can make what could be a sad place to work, a place full of joy.
