Beverley racers, James Westmoreland (Dickies British Supersport Championship), Jordan Rushby (Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship), and Peter Founds (rider) (Knutsford) / Adam Christie (passenger) (Beverley) competed in the final rounds of 2018 in their respective championships around the Brands Hatch GP Circuit in Kent.
One week after the FIA ETRC round in Most, Czech Republic, Terry Gibbon from Brough driving the T Sport Racing MAN participated in the 6th round of this year´s British Truck Racing Championship back in the UK.
Held at Snetterton it was an important event for the team as their partners EMS and FP&S Truck and Trailer Parts – in cooperation with PE Automotive – once again invited their local customers to join them for the weekend.
Silverstone hosted round nine of the British Superbike Championship. It took place on the National Circuit following concerns over the GP Circuit surface following the cancellation of the Moto GP.
Saturday saw Beverley racers, Jordan Rushby (Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship), James Westmoreland (Dickies British Supersport Championship), complete qualifying sessions in their respective championships.
It was a busy weekend for round six of the British Superbike Championship held on the famous Brands Hatch GP circuit for Beverley racers, Jordan Rushby (Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship-SSK1000) James Westmoreland (Dickies British Supersport Championship), and Sam Christie (Rider) and Adam Christie (Passenger) (Hyundai British Sidecar Championship).
Brough’s Terry Gibbon participated in the fourth round of the 2018 British Truck Racing Championship at Donington Park – the closest circuit to the team’s home driving T Sport Racing’s MAN.
“Convoy in the Park“, a massive show truck exhibition formed part of the event. Thousands of spectators attending the two-day event had plenty to see and do: there were 10 truck races – divided into two classes – as well as trade stands, a kids fun fair and an action arena including caravan smashing.
Beverley racer’s James ‘Westy’ Westmoreland competed in round four of the Dickies British Supersport Championship onboard the Gearlink Kawasaki while Jordan Rushby competed in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship around the Snetterton 300 circuit in Norfolk.
The second round of the 2018 British Superbike Championship was held around the Brands Hatch Indy Circuit.
Beverley’s James ‘Westy’ Westmoreland competed on board the Gearlink Kawasaki in the Dickies British Supersport Championship, placing the Kawasaki fourteenth on the grid for the first of the weekend’s two races in a time of 47.2secs.
Round One of the 2018 British Truck Racing Championship took place over the Easter weekend around the Brands Hatch Indy Circuit, with Brough’s Terry Gibbon competing in Class A for T Sport Racing in the MAN TGS.
The opening round of the British Truck Racing Championship was scheduled for Easter Sunday 1st and Easter Monday 2nd of April. Accordingly, it was Sunday morning when Terry first went out onto the track with his number 37 race truck.
Tuesday saw the launch of the 2018 Bennetts British Superbike season with the media day being held at Donington Park.
Beverley’s James ‘Westy’ Westmoreland will remain with the Gearlink Kawasaki team riding one of the teams Ninja ZX-6R, stepping down from the Superbike class, to compete in Dickies British Supersport Championship where he has had much success in the past.
The last round of the British Truck Racing Championship was held last weekend on 4th and 5th of November around the famous Brands Hatch Indy Circuit in Kent, with Brough racer Terry Gibbon taking the helm of the T-Sport Racing MAN.
With a record number of visitors through the gate, more than 150 show trucks and 30 race trucks, the last truck race of the year was all set to be a real cracker!
Beverley racer James Westmoreland competed in the twelfth and final round of the 2017 British Superbike Championship on board the Gearlink Kawasaki ZX-10R around the Brands Hatch GP circuit.
Qualifying saw him place the Kawasaki twenty third on the grid with a 1min 26.4sec lap for the first of the weekend’s three races.
Beverley’s James Westmoreland competed in round nine of the British Superbike Championship held around the Silverstone Circuit onboard the Gearlink Kawasaki, qualifying nineteenth with a 2min 07.6sec lap for the first of the weekend’s three races.
As the lights went green for the first race held on Saturday ‘Westy’ made a place up off the start and remained eighteenth until lap three before moving into seventeenth place.
Beverley racer James Westmoreland competed in round seven of the British Superbike Championship (BSB) around the notorius Thruxton circuit in Hampshire on board the Gearlink Kawasaki ZX-10R.
Qualifying saw him place the Kawasaki thirteenth on the grid with a 1min 15.2sec lap. As racing got underway he dropped back to eighteenth after a slow start.

Qualifying saw him place the Kawasaki ninth on the grid with a 1min 37.2sec lap in the wet after getting into qualifying three for the first of the weekend’s two races.
Beverley’s James Westmoreland competed in round five of the British Superbike Championship (BSB) at Snetterton in Norfolk on board the Gearlink Kawasaki ZX-10R.
Westmoreland started from seventeenth place on the grid after setting a qualification time of 1min 48.7secs.
