Sergeant Gareth Young has been awarded a Commandant’s Commendation for his contribution and commitment to sport at the Defence School of Transport. Hull born Gareth was presented the award by DST’s Commandant, Colonel Rob Peacock.

Hundreds of runners took to the streets of Beverley for the Hall Construction Group Beverley 10K. Runners from clubs across the region and many local people completed the testing course with some brave enough to do it in costumes.
Beverley Athletes were amongst over 400 runners who completed the 13th annual Kirkbymoorside 10k last Sunday. The course was rural and challenging with long, steep hills.
