Armistice Day: Beverley’s Silent Tribute

The town centre of Beverley came to a standstill as The British Royal Legion, officials and members of the public observed a two-minute silence. Staff from the surrounding businesses joined shoppers on the streets as the town of Beverley paid their respect on Armistice Day.
