Beverley and Holderness MP Graham Stuart has welcomed news that up to £92,000 funding will be provided by the Government for more work to be done developing the business plan submitted by East Riding Council for proposed road improvement works at the Jocks Lodge junction.
Jocks Lodge forms the junction between the A164 and the A1079 to the south of Beverley.

Building carer friendly communities was the theme of a multi-agency event which has taken place in the East Riding to mark Carers Rights Day.

Toys, Kitchenalia and even some prehistoric items will be displayed for people to see and touch. Volunteers will be on hand to chat and provide explanations for the items on Wednesday, 30 November at 11.30am and 1pm.
