Beverley Town Football Club hosted their Sportsman’s Dinner on Saturday evening on a night that saw them welcome special guests Paul Merson and Ben Shires to Beaver Park.

Merson who enjoyed a glittering career with Arsenal Football Club making over 300 appearances for the Gunners scoring 78 goals and 21 England appearances scoring three times.
