Beverley Resident Praised For  His Defibrillator Coverage Campaigning

Beverley and Holderness MP Graham Stuart has praised 22 year old Beverley resident Jordan Moor for the hard work he does campaigning and raising money for defibrillators in East Yorkshire.

Jordan Moor, who is a key member of Graham’s Community Access for Defibrillators in East Yorkshire ‘CADEY’ campaign, has raised over £25,000 since June 2017 and helped many local communities install AEDs.

World Suicide Prevention Day takes place on 10 September and East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Hull and East Yorkshire Mind, Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust, Hull City Council, Headstart and Humberside Fire and Rescue are working together to help prevent suicide.

Beverley AC Celebrates Couch To 5k Achievements

Beverley AC celebrated the achievements of its Couch to 5k participants at Peter Pan Parkrun on Saturday 1 September, with runners taking part in the 5 kilometre run to successfully complete the 15-week course, which began in May.

Twenty-seven Couch to 5k runners completed the course at Peter Pan Park in West Hull, cheered on by marshals and encouraged by over 250 fellow runners, many of whom regularly attend to run the free 5k event every Saturday morning.
