Local Men’s Sheds Projects Win Backing Of MP

Graham Stuart, MP for Beverley and Holderness, has given his backing to ‘Men’s Sheds’ projects across his constituency, supported by the UK Men’s Sheds Association.

Men’s Sheds aims to support older men, and women, to get together and connect with likeminded people in the area while learning new skills such as metalworking, electronics or even building cars.

Two theatre productions from Hull and Beverley are set to take over the same award-winning venue in London this week with month-long runs in the capital.

At age 73, Dave Rookyard is showing no signs of slowing down and instead of reaching for a pipe and slippers, he has just accepted a new post as the Concierge of The Glass House, a fantastic apartment building in Queen’s Gardens by Iguana Developments.
