St Mary’s School Send Off Yorkshire Tour Baton In Style

St Mary’s Primary School Road Safety Champion Wendy Copley says the pupils at the great time being involved with the School’s Yorkshire Tour Baton Relay.

The baton arrived with the school on the Thursday where it stayed until it set off the following Friday morning on the next leg of its route.

Members of staff at St Mary’s Primary School have raised over £2,000 for Cancer Research UK after they took part in the March incentive ‘Walk All Over Cancer’.

In all twenty staff members, made up of teachers, teaching assistants, lunchtime supervisors and office staff participated under the team name ‘We’ll Never Walk Alone’.
