Stamford Bridge Singers will be in Beverley in the run-up to Christmas as they bring ‘Follow The Star’ to St Mary’s Church.
The concert, which takes place on 7 December will be the perfect festive tonic and will also be raising funds for the Beverley Community Lift.
Formed in 2000, the Stamford Bridge Singers are a community choir with a passion for music. Their appearance in Beverley promises to be an uplifting experience.
Sue Ford from the Stamford Bridge Singers said;
“Everyone in the choir is certainly looking forward to performing in Beverley, we have heard that it is a wonderful place to sing. We are based in the East Riding and receive some support from the Council through their Arts Grant, so we like to get out to new parts of the County when we can.”
“We have previously sung at a number of lovely locations in the East Riding, including Howden Minster. This concert in St Mary’s, such a beautiful church, will add something very special to our festive season.”
The grpoup hopes residents in the town will join them. Anyone who attends will also be supporting a charity that provides a vital local service.
