Defence School of Transport Welcome Rugby League World Cup Trophies Tour

As part of its preparation for the Rugby League World Cup, the Defence School of Transport, Leconfield welcomed the trophies and the international Fiji team using the barracks as a training facility.

As part of the National Lottery Trophies Tour that kicked off in Newcastle on Friday 26 August, 50 days before the tournament begins, the trophies are in the region.

The City of Hull and District Rugby League (COHDRL) will host the youth games, starting this Saturday, together with partners including Hull City Council, to raise awareness of black contribution for October’s Black History Month, and celebrate and promote youth achievement in the sport of Rugby League.
