Candidates Standing In Beverley & Holderness for the upcoming general election have been confirmed.
In all, there are five parties looking to win the support of residents in Beverley & Holderness and win a seat currently held by the Conservative Party.
Labour Parliamentary Candidate Chloe Hopkins has officially launched her campaign. Standing in Beverley & Holderness, Ms Hopkins will contest a seat currently held by Conservatives.
Members of the local Labour Party and also Emma Hardy, who is also looking to be re-elected offered their support.
Brexit Party Candidate Craig Linsner is amoung 317 across the Uk who are being stood down ahead of the 2019 General Election.
Mr Linster who was the candidate for Beverley and Holderness says he was disappointed. However, he also says he understands why the decision has been made.
With the election approaching here is how you can register to vote. The general election of 2019 is scheduled to take place on 12 December.
Anyone within the East Riding of Yorkshire who wants to take part needs to be registered. To register to vote only takes a few minutes and can be done online.
