A survey finds that nearly one in 10 parents will use a food bank to feed their children within the next three months.

In other words, 1.3 million parents are expected to visit a food bank in the next three months as they struggle to cope with rising living costs, and 88% of parents reported an increase in their monthly food bill as well during this period.

From Thursday, November 21 until Saturday, November 23 the two charities will be collecting food in Tesco stores across the UK during the annual Tesco Food Collection. They are looking for local volunteers to encourage shoppers to donate so that as much food as possible can be collected.
