Beverley Parkway Cinema and Theatre is returning to its very popular dementia-friendly cinema screenings in September after being postponed by the pandemic in 2020.

In addition to the lower sound system and additional lighting in the auditorium, there is no pre-film advertising and toilet and exit signs are easy to understand.

Irving Berlin`s White Christmas will be screened by popular demand for those people living with dementia their families and carer`s on Thursday 30 November 11.15 am at the Parkway Cinema in Beverley.

The epic film starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye and Rosemary Clooney will be shown in full colour on the big screen and includes dementia friendly features.
