A state-of-the-art 3G Pitch has been officially opened by the Chairman of East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Councillor Nigel Wilkinson, for East Riding Leisure Beverley.
The new 3G Pitch was made possible thanks to investment from the Premier League, The FA, Commuted Sums, East Riding of Yorkshire Council and the Government’s Football Foundation.
The refurbishment of the Tone Zone gym at East Riding Leisure Beverley is now open and means the facility can offer brand new, state of the art equipment.
Following the work, equipment now includes the replacement of all the existing cardiovascular and resistance equipment with the latest Matrix models, featuring internet capability; fit touch technology; and updated virtual active videos.
East Riding Leisure Beverley has introduced the STA (Swimming Teachers’ Association) International Learn to Swim Programme throughout its swimming lessons programme, from baby and preschool swimming sessions through to platinum awards for advanced swimming and junior lifeguard courses.
