Puppy Raisers Wanted In Beverley By Sight Loss Charity

Guide Dogs for the Blind is currently recruiting puppy raisers in the Beverley. The charity which supports people with sight loss is hoping volunteers will come forward to help raise the puppies they are training.

An estimated 25 people in the UK start to lose their sight every day. With the charity getting just 1% of its funding from government sources, volunteer’s play a key role.

Murder Investigation @ The Woolpack

A ‘Crime Scene Investigation Night’ was held at The Woolpack Inn on Tuesday night.  The event was organised by the proprietor of the Woolpack Kim McKenna. The participating teams had to solve crimes and identify murderers using clues, interviews with witnesses, and forensic evidence.
