Hull is to host an international conference to promote effective public and private cross sector leadership in the city.
With a high calibre of international speakers and an audience of over 120 leaders and aspiring leaders due to attend on Tuesday 29 November, the ambitious conference at St Mary’s College
Cadets will soon join the ranks of Humberside Police thanks to a £10,000 donation from leading Hull firm Arco, as part of the work of the High Sheriff on behalf of the Tribune Trust.

New electrical power points and street lighting in the pedestrian precinct of Goole is now complete, thanks to £8,760 from East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s High Street Fund.

Sewerby Hall and Gardens has begun its search for talented children with its annual design a flower bed competition, of which the closing date is Friday, 31 March 2017.
To coincide with one of the house exhibitions and as a reminder of Sewerby Hall and Gardens’ unique location, the theme for the competition is ‘Beside the Seaside’.
