Clues Unearthed to Beverley’s Long-Gone Tanneries
Archaeologists have unearthed relics from one of Beverley’s most important medieval trades. They have been excavating part of the now derelict Hodgsons Tannery site ahead of the planned £120m development. Road Sweepings to be Composted
Road sweepings from some of the East Riding’s streets and roads are now being sent for composting to keep it out of landfill.
