Members of the Labour Party in Beverley say MP Graham Stuart is in denial over the governments intentions to sell off the NHS to their business friends.
Their comments come after they released statement in response to plans to sell part of the NHS which Labour say will benefit private sector at tax payers expense.
Hull Man Jailed For Passing Horsemeat Off As Beef
Three men, one from Hull, have today been sentenced for their roles in a conspiracy to pass horesmeat off as beef. Andronicos Sideras, 55 of Southgate, London, Alex Beech, 44 of Sutton on Hull, and Ulrik Nielsen, 58 of Gentofte, Denmark were sentenced at Inner London Crown Court.
The investigation into the case began with Environmental Health and Trading Standards Officers from Hull City Council.
Greg Whyley Makes Half Century But York Win The Match
York skipper Nick Kay had a day to remember, an excellent all round performance leading to a victory over Beverley Town Cricket Club at the Norwood Recreation Ground.
Kay’s 6-48 helped bowl out Beverley for 176 with Greg Whyley top scoring with 54 and Tom Hudson making a credible 36.
Bentham Wins Gold For Team England At Commonwealth Games
Beverley’s Holly Bentham has returned home following winning a Gold Medal for Team England at the Youth Commonwealth Games.
Judo ace, Bentham, took part in the game that were held in the Bahamas beating off competition to clinch gold and climb to the top of the UK rankings.

Beverley Town Council: Northern Rail’s Economically Harmful Rail Proposal Must Be Scrapped
Beverley Town Council unanimously agreed a Motion opposing Northern Rail’s plans to scrap the direct rail links connecting Beverley to Doncaster and Sheffield.
The Motion, presented by Councillor Ben Cooper, argued the changes to the 2018 timetable would unacceptably ‘harm and inconvenience the town’. It also called on Northern Rail to implement a full public consultation over any future changes that would affect Beverley.

EYMS Poppy Bus Now In Its Fourth Incarnation
